East Marion Residence
The before shot was the pre-existing home that we began with, that the owners had hoped to remodel. During demolition it became apparent that the foundation was in terrible shape, saving what was structurally sound & replacing what wasn’t. Due to its proximity to both the street and the waterfront, the home was rebuilt on the existing footprint of the home and the concrete slab patio. The home was built into the hill giving it a shingle style cottage appearance from the road and three floors of bright rooms with views on the water side, the lowest floor offering a playroom for the growing family. The natural stone facing of the foundation and chimney were the perfect compliment to the cedar shingles uses for both the siding and roof.
